BUSH LAUNCHES FIRST TELEVISION AD OF THE CAMPAIGN
“Maine Dream” will air statewide starting today on both television and digital
SOUTH PORTLAND – The Jonathan Bush for Governor campaign today launched their first television ad, titled “Maine Dream.” The ad can be viewed by clicking the link below:
The ad lays out Jonathan’s vision for Maine, and his record of bringing hundreds of jobs to Midcoast Maine. It also features Colby Horne, the owner of Colburn Shoe Store in Belfast, the oldest shoe store in America.
“When Jonathan brought athenahealth to Belfast, he brought hundreds of jobs to the community. Not just jobs, he brought careers.”
Jonathan brought athenahealth’s operations center to Belfast in 2007. Starting with six employees in a vacant credit card processing building, Jonathan built the Belfast workforce up to 1,000 good-paying careers, and changed the economic landscape of Waldo County. After athenahealth came to Maine, Waldo County’s GDP increased at four times the rate of the rest of the state, and the per capita personal income increase in Waldo County was 67% higher than Maine overall.
The ad will begin airing on TV and across digital platforms statewide today. Bush is the first candidate for Maine governor this cycle to go on television.
